ABOUT THE CLINIC

We offer a free telephonic bankruptcy clinic in partnership with the Federal Bar Association.

 

Visit the clinic to get free legal advice on filing for bankruptcy without an attorney (Pro Se). Experienced bankruptcy lawyers can look through your forms to catch things that may cause problems for your case and help you fix them. They'll advise on bankruptcy-related issues and answer questions. Attend as many times as you need during the duration of your bankruptcy.

Where

The clinic is being held via telephone appointments. There is no in person clinic option at this time. Please sign up in advance using the link below.

When

Every first and third Thursday* of the month
1:00 to 3:00 PM

*The clinic is closed if it falls on a federal holiday.

You should attend if...

  • You are a Washington State resident.
  • You are considering filing Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
  • Your total household income is 200% of the Federal Poverty Level or lower.
  • You are currently filing or considering filing for bankruptcy without attorney (Pro Se)

We do not assist:

  • Creditors.
  • Businesses looking to file bankruptcy.
  • Chapter 11 filers.
  • Individuals who are seeking or require full representation from an attorney.
